Tommy doesn’t really know how he ended up here if he is being honest.
He just kind of got in a line because other people were in the line and next thing he knows he is getting checked into the hero tower by security and being asked about his resume and then being told to fill something out.
The form had a lot of really odd questions too like why he wanted a job or what his morals were and other really weird stuff.
Tommy has no clue what job he wants or what his morals are.
aka the fic where tommy HASNT had much luck in his life but he accidentally becomes a superhero and finds friends, family, and healing along the way

It turns out that… no, the universe is not kind enough so that Tommy could get a damn break from the mess that is his life. Having quit being Theseus, Tommy is too aware of the rising tension in L’Manberg because of his disappearance as Theseus. And he is all too aware of the different factions all clambering for the final chance to end this all.

It’s not that Tommy thinks he deserves this at all, it’s just sometimes he think his life is one large punchline that only the universe is in on. Sometimes he genuinely thinks that he needs to put his head through a window.
He’s done a lot of wrong in his life. But does he deserve this? Does he really?

Tubbo barked out a harsh laugh at this. “Familiar? Familiar doesn’t begin to cover it, bud.” He raked his hands through his hair again, and began to pace in front of his chests. “The gods are fucking bastards, okay? They’ll lie to you to make your life a living hell. They’ll trick you into marrying them and then use that as an excuse to never fucking leave you alone-”
“Wait, marry them?” Fit asked.
“Yeah! They’ll trick you into marriage if you’re not fucking careful!” Tubbo exclaimed, his green-blue eyes blown wide.
Fit considered this for a moment. “You know, I’m just gonna hazard a guess here and say that you’re speaking from personal experience on this one.”
At this, Tubbo groaned and dragged his hands down his face. Fit shared a look with Sunny, who seemed just as confused as he was.
