He tries to tell himself that this is his home now, and sometimes he’s able to believe it, able to shut off that emotional part of his brain that tries to take over and remind him how alone and unloved he is.     When you have eight boys living together with as little regard for personal space as Stray Kids in flu season it's all in.

    It started with Jisung muffling a cough into his shoulder during a producing session. The cough never really went away but Jisung seemed to be healthy apart from that so Chan didn’t worry too much about it and just kept handing the young rapper bottles of water.

    Then Hyunjin sneezed three times in rapid succession at practice and they had to start the song again. He’d bumped heads with Jeongin in the process but neither was injured so it was back to positions, they didn’t have time to waste.

    When Changbin rolled out of bed one morning and threw up all over the floor before he’d even really got upright Chan started to see a pattern.

    The room is dimly lit as he steps inside. The shadows dancing with Felix’s entrance. Seeming to touch the ceiling when the door behind the omega finally closes.

    “Well this is unexpected.”

    But nothing can overshadow the alpha that is perched on the bed.

    “I was so sure he was going to bring me either Seungmin or Minho.”

    Felix swallows. Rolling his shoulders back as he says, “They were asleep, your majesty. I’m afraid I was the only one awake at this hour.”

    The alpha immediately hums. “I see.” Before he then seems to relax further into the pillows behind him. “You’ll have to remind me of your name again. It’s been awhile since our first encounter.”

    “Felix, your majesty. This one is called Felix.”

    “Hmm…”

    A moment of silence then passes. With the omega waiting for instructions of what to do. He’s sure the alpha will bed him. Will finally make use of him as a concubine. But-

    “What is your talent, Felix?”

    But instead he asks that.
