Many Arcane fic writers are not League of Legends players, the video game that the show is based on, so I put together this primer to help writers create canon-compliant works. It includes: character ages, the show's timeline, characters' in-game bios (with commentary about their connection to Arcane), an overview of the Piltover/Zaun conflict, brief descriptions of the surrounding regions, and detailed descriptions of Piltover/Zaun's layout and geography.

To do: world timeline, local religion(s), species, magic

Now with visual aids to help spark inspiration! There's maps of both Piltover/Zaun, their denizens and the technology they created, and some glimpses into the world around them. (Best viewed on desktop, as they're quite large.)

(I apologize for clogging the tags; I'm trying to get this to as many writers and potential writers as possible.)

An important but sadly unfinished resource for writing in the Arcane or League of Legends universes.

    Bookmarker's Notes

An underrated work of plot with porn. A ten year old with some brat sub and exhibitionistic tendencies (12 by the end of Book One) and her two boyfriends engage in a lot of sexual exploration and risk taking.

90% of the rape/non-con warned for in the tags consists of someone actively attempting to rape her and finding her a willing and active participant. Even that is a rare occurrence. Thankfully Book Two (which the author seems to still be writing) is being posted one chapter at a time in a series rather than as a single work and you know what you're getting in each chapter instead of wondering if it's happening in the chapter you're reading or twenty down the line.

Very late in part one the occasional rape/non-con scene gets darker and more threatening for her but still haven't gotten as bad as the rape scenes in some of my works. If you can read my stuff the rape scenes in this are unlikely to be too much for you. Depending on your taste they might be too tame for you. Book Two has not included any rape scenes yet but there have been mentions of an unknown high school student coming over to the middle school and raping middle school girls, I am sure this is eventually going to happen to Sam or a girl she knows. Or both. The way it's been framed these may wind up darker than previous rape scenes in the work. Can't know until they happen though.

Book Two has recently introduced a fourth member of the polycule a very shy more traditionally submissive girl with very strict and implied to be religious parents. It also very recently took a turn into Urban Fantasy and I can't wait to see what the author does there.

Most sex is between two or more children (sometimes as old as 16 so still possibly triggering to some readers when their partner is 11 - even if the 11 year old is the one who went to great effort to initiate it), there is occasional sex between children or teens and adults, and sometimes sex scenes between two adult characters. There is at least one sex scene per chapter.

Incest was not tagged for by the author but there are occasional scenes where two cousins (a first cousin in one case, more distantly related in the other) have sex and there is mention of a side character having been in an incestuous relationship with her brother but no sex scene written about the two of them. It does seem like we are progressing towards brother/sister incest (probably rape/non-con as well) and possible Uncle/niece (and maybe some Aunt/nephew) scenes eventually in Book Two but they do not take place in Book One. The ones involving Uncle/niece and Aunt/Nephew are likely to be consensual.

Since this seems to have become a full review I would be remiss if I didn't mention what I consider to be the one singular flaw. And it's one I'm sure to some extent I'm guilty of as well. It could have used an editing pass for missing words or misused homophones (I suspect it may have been written on a device with autocorrect or perhaps speech to text). A minor quibble unless you're very pedantic and it does not detract from the reading experience enough to have prevented me from reading Book One and everything posted of Book Two in the span of about three days.

    Bookmarker's Notes

For now see my comments on Book One of this underrated series of plot with porn. If future chapters contain anything I feel I should add something about I'll put that information here. For now all I have to say here is read Book One before starting Book Two. Events in past chapters are often brought up and become relevant to the events of current chapters so it's best to start at the beginning.
