Summary
After the events in Night City, and the loss of Sandayu Oda, Goro Takemura is reassigned to work under Hanako Arasaka. As time goes on, he notices Hanako struggles to move on from Oda's loss; and begins to wonder just how close the two of them became over the time they worked together.

"What are you eating now?" Oda asked, looking up over Takemura's shoulder to the small cardboard food boat that was holding mitarashi dango.
"Do not complain, I got enough for the both of us," Takemura said, a smile on his face. It was certainly unusual for the both of them to let their guards down, to allow the walls of defenses they had built up over the decades to crash and break for the evening as they allowed themselves to relax with one another.
Takemura picked up one of the sticks, having to pry it off of the paper boat before eating the first dango off of it, holding the stick out for Oda to have as well, chewing silently. "It is good, you will like it," he said as if Oda would have to be persuaded to eat it. He would eat pretty much anything put in front of him, a stark comparison to Takemura who was far more picky and selective about what he ate.
