In which Darth Maul catches up to Qui Gon just a little bit earlier…
“It is only lucky that we had the hyperdrive installed by the time that thing showed up,” Obi Wan remarked.
“And here I thought you didn’t believe in luck, Obi Wan.” Qui Gon said, an amused twinkle in his eyes. “But yes, quite fortunate indeed. We shall escort the queen to Coruscant and then we shall return here.”
Obi Wan gaped at his master for a moment then quickly tried to hide it. Apparently, he could still be surprised by Qui Gon’s antics after all. “Master, with all due respect… we barely escaped that thing once. I am sure whatever unfinished business you have with that boy is hardly important enough to risk coming back.”
Qui Gon chuckled lightly. “You still have much to learn, padawan. I on the other hand am quite certain that it is of vital importance to the future of the galaxy that I return here and conclude my business with Anakin.”
“Dramatic much, master?” Obi Wan asked, smirking slightly.
Qui Gon only smiled mischievously.

25 BBY - Takes place in "The Anomaly" AU
Everyone thinks that Obi Wan should take on a Padawan. Everyone except Obi Wan that is. But when the Jedi Council assigns him to teach a class of initiates, he really has no choice.
Meanwhile, Ahsoka doesn't think anyone will ever choose her as a Padawan, least of all the sith slayer, council's favorite, and overall perfect Jedi, Obi Wan Kenobi. She's just trying to get through the day without getting in trouble again.

Set sometime around the Mando/BoBF era:
Ahsoka stumbled backwards the moment she saw him. No. It wasn’t possible. It couldn’t be.
“Anakin,” she breathed, reaching for the lightsabers concealed under her tunic.
It was impossible. This wasn’t real. How could it be? And yet, Ahsoka could not fail to recognize the man standing in front of her.
He looked just as he had all those years ago, the day she had first met him on Christophsis. As if he somehow hadn’t aged a day since then. As if the past 3 decades (which had certainly brought lines to her own face) had never happened. Yet, that was perhaps the least impossible thing about this situation.
