Summary
The legend of Himiko, the Death Queen of the island of Yamatai, was a bed-time story in the Jeon Manor, and an obsession of Jungkook's late father. Now, years later and a seasoned explorer himself, Jungkook has set out to find the lost island of Yamatai for himself, with his less-equipped boat captain, Taehyung, by his side.
But they face their own unique set of issues, instead, and Jungkook begins to wonder: was the legend of Yamatai really just a bed-time story?-
heavily inspired by one of the Tomb Raider games, loosely based on the franchise itself. Cross-posted to my wattpad. -

It wasn't until Taehyung sees said ex-boyfriend at a coffee shop and then is found crying in the living room that Jungkook realizes just how much of an understatement that was.
