Summary
No one knew how big the forest was. Any cartographers that had tried had never made it back, sailors that had attempted to enter from the coastside were doomed to break upon a rocky shore. All the aspiring merchants and upper class that tried to buy a plot had to admit their failure and sunken costs within five years, packing up and retreating to the ever-growing cities.
And still the Winchesters remained. Just Dean now, of course. The eldest, the hunter, the last, sad remnant of a time where his family were knights paid to slay the dragon, tame the beast, best the witch.
