Summary
“Are you dumb, kid?” Claude demands, trying his best to keep his voice down.
To his credit, Matthew doesn’t look cowed by Claude’s less than stellar reaction, if anything, he looks annoyed. “I’m not a kid,” he refutes hotly, then adds on as an afterthought, “and I’m not dumb.”
“You sure?” Claude raises an eyebrow dubiously, “because I could’ve sworn that you just told me you wanted to-”
Again, he can’t even finish the sentence, the remaining words trapping themselves in his mouth and clogging up his throat until he feels like he can't breathe. Claude resorts to waving his hand sharply through the air once to try and convey his point instead.
“I want to seduce Leon,” Matthew repeats, in the same nonchalant way one might say ‘it’s raining outside’.(AU where Matthew and Sid are rookies attending All Stars for the first time and keen to pursue their respective crushes, spoiler, Leon and Claude don't stand a chance)

Summary
“Here.” Will says, unsure what makes him think of it, and he thrusts his hand out in front of Macklin’s face. Mack looks confused, at first, and then it’s like he gains abrupt clarity, because he grabs the proffered arm with both hands reverently, tightly. He pulls it to his mouth and lets Will’s muscle and sinew coated in hot skin part his lips as he presses his sealed mouth against him. Will wants to prompt him, to yell ‘bite down, damnit!’ but as his patience runs out, Mack opens his jaws and sinks his teeth in, in, in. It’s not the light nips he’s taken before, not the playful way he’s dined on Will in the past. This is a real bite, a genuinely painful and sharp sensation deep in the tissue and muscle lining Will’s arm.
—
Macklin has a biting thing. Then he just plain has a thing for Will. Will is amenable.

Summary
“If Canada wins, you gotta wear my tarp,” Mack responds. He feels his heart start beating rapidly just at the suggestion, just from the thought of it. “For a whole day.”
Will seems to think for a moment - or maybe he’s just that distracted by what’s going on in the game - before he nods. He leans forward, balancing his elbows against his thighs, his hands hanging loosely in the space between. “And if the US wins? Which they will, by the way,” he replies, his eyes still not flickering away from the screen.
“I’ll wear yours,” Mack ascertains with a shrug that he hopes comes off as casual. “Or whatever you want. Except I won’t have to, because that’s not gonna happen.”
[The classic hockey trope of wearing your teammate's jersey and so many feelings, except in all fairness - Macklin Celebrini brought it up first.]

Summary
“Did you know everyone thinks we’re dating?” Mika says loudly.
It has the intended effect. Chris snaps his mouth shut with an audible click of teeth and stares at him.
“I—what?”
“Artie's worried. Asked me to talk to you about how hard you’re pushing yourself. Said since we’re dating, maybe you’ll listen to me.”
The silence echoes.Bookmarked by hyphen_abyss
