It’s a wooden table, wobbly and secondhand. And it only fits two chairs. Being here reminds Katsuki of when he and Eijirou used to sit at this tiny table late at night and eat their dinner together after long shifts, back when it had just been the two of them, back when they had never known anything else but how much they loved each other.
Eijirou gives him a soft smile from across the room like he’s thinking of the exact same thing.

Adam leans in. Up close the boy smells like sweat, probably due to nerves. It doesn’t smell bad. He presses their lips chastely together, then remembers he’s supposed to be proving something, and opens his lips to wetten the kiss and the boy inhales sharply against him. Adam leans back.
“Proof enough?” he asks.
