Summary
It could be said that John Watson has a tendency to make 'questionable' decisions when in the presence of beautiful women. This was one of those decisions.
Or: John is a hypocrite and Sherlock couldn't be happier about it.

Sherlock made his way to the sofa and flopped down dramatically. He drew in a breath for what John was sure would be a spectacularly put-upon sigh, and then froze. John glanced at him, confused by the sudden change.
“Alright?”
Sherlock was staring at him—which was not altogether an unusual thing for him to do, though he normally did not have an expression on his face like the one he wore at that moment. It was an intense, focused thing. Razor-sharp and radioactive.
“Sherlock?”
Before he could prompt him again, Sherlock dove forward, stuffing his face into the junction between John’s neck and his shoulder.
“Wh—Sherlock?! What the hell are you doing?”

Summary
Post-S3. The Roy kids return from Italy and plead for Sandi and a less-than-thrilled Stewy to join them in thwarting the GoJo sale and taking down their dad once and for all. Kendall resumes his lifelong on-and-off affair with Stewy, and confesses the manslaughter to him. Logan and co. launch aggressive ratfucking tactics in the hopes of warding off a takeover.

Summary
The mother was apparently poisoned, the son seems to have killed himself playing Russian roulette. It's a murder and a suicide. Or is it a suicide and a murder?
At least the case is distracting John from the fact that sex with Sherlock was probably a mistake right from the start.
John will learn to cope, one way or another.
