“He can’t move anyway.” Another replied. “It’s more interesting to see what he’ll do when free.” They left soon after. Then Grian was in pain.
It was the worst pain Grian had ever felt. He could feel his code twisting and contorting to be something else. There was a pressure under his back, pushing against his skin and threatening to break free. The same thing happened just behind his ears.
Grian whimpered and panted, sucking in deep breaths that did not want to fill his lungs. He hoped They might return soon, maybe to help him, maybe to knock him out again.
Alas, no one came, and Grian was left screaming on the floor all by himself.
