Murphy squints at them both. Allie is fidgeting slightly with the buttons on her shirt in silence. AB’s rambling chatter isn't totally foreign to Murphy, but the way he’s being somewhat deliberate with his words throws him for a loop. They want something big from him. What it is, he isn't sure yet, but they want something and know he won't easily give it up.
