Taehyun's boring, not an idiot.
But maybe he is an idiot because now he's staring at the stick in Soobin's hand. The stick that's a positive pregnancy test while Soobin looks at him with tears in his eyes and shaking, clearly scared of what Taehyun is about to do and asking for help. Part of Taehyun wants to stick his head in the sand and pretend he has no idea what's happening. But he knows that he cannot listen to that part of himself.

If he didn't do this, their ruts would go on longer and be more painful, getting in the way of schedules where they’re needed to perform. It's simple math. Johnny takes the brunt of it so they can be okay. Sacrifice himself to help five others. It would be selfish to think otherwise, and he knows that. Managers have told him this. If he says no, the alphas would listen without question, making things so much harder for everyone else.

"Hyung, what happened?" Mark asks, an arm around Johnny's waist as he guides him through the hospital hallways. Johnny thinks he's two more trips away from Mark just picking him up and carrying him out of here. "Why are you crying?" He looks back at the office, his gaze darkening as his mouth twists like he just ate a lemon. "Did someone hurt you?"
Johnny doesn't know how to answer that. He wasn't hurt. The doctor didn't tell him anything that another doctor wouldn't have told him. It was just the way he did it. It was how he didn't get a chance to process this. It's just . . . it's just everything, and Johnny is so tired.
"I have to get pregnant," he mumbles, feeling placed out of his own body. He isn't even sure if Mark heard the words, but then he feels the arm around his middle tighten and knows that Mark did. He can't look at his face, but the explanation stumbles out of him, at least as much as Johnny can explain it, given how it completely turned his life upside down.
