“Why did Yeonjun open the door when I got here?” he asks again after he let Beomgyu cool off for a minute, his curiosity getting the best of him.
Beomgyu’s response is muffled with his face still buried in the pillows, Soobin is almost convinced the younger one has plans of suffocating himself and wouldn’t put it past him to at least try.

More muffled noises.

“He quit Uni and is now living off of our money, can you believe that?” Beomgyu suddenly shoots up, enraged.

“You’re not working on Christmas day, Soobin,” Yeonjun cuts him off, his expression shifting into something that looked like anger. "They— whoever they stands for—can’t do that. It’s unfair, and besides, they can’t legally ask you to work tomorrow. It’s written in our contracts, no working on Christmas.”
Soobin quickly tries to stop Yeonjun, shaking his head, a little panicked. “I know, I know! But I have to do it. It’s not like I have a choice!”
(Soobin finds himself drowning in work and breaks down as his parents share their pictures celebrating Christmas morning together. Just as he thinks his entire Christmas is ruined, his co-worker, Yeonjun appears out of nowhere, holding a hand out to save him.)
