Summary
After he learned of Wei Wuxian's death, Lan Wangji dragged his broken body to Yiling. Deep inside Luanzanggang, he encountered the ghosts of the Wen Remnants. They revealed that someone had been trapped inside Luanzanggang and that Wei Wuxian had worked to save this person. Having nothing left to lose, Lan Wangji poured his remaining spiritual energy into an array Wei Wuxian had drawn before his death.
When he passed out from exhaustion, Lan Wangji hadn't expected to wake again, but he did. However, he wasn't in Luanzanggang anymore. Instead, he was back in Gusu. He was also a teenager again.

The Lan and the Jiang had long planned on an alliance sealed with a marriage. When Jiang Yanli was born with such… disappointing potential… it was decided to skip past her and make her unborn sibling or siblings the heir. That meant that she would marry either Lan Xichen or Lan Wangji.
