Kaeda Minoko was a simple child. She lives in a world with heroes and immediately wants to become one.
Heroes are cool! They help people, keep them safe, and they beat up the bad guys with their super awesome quirks! Like All Might with his super strength or even Endeavour with his flames!
The thing is, Minoko doesn't have a super awesome quirk that can beat up bad guys.
She has "magic hands" that can store and retrieve items in a pocket dimension. Clearly she was not made for the job. So, she had to let that dream go or risk being a liability in the field.
Unfortunately, even with all the effort to stay away from wanting to be a hero, deep down, Minoko is a stubborn girl.
Which is why she is now in front of UA about to take the Hero Course entrance exam.

It was her senior year, meaning she’s going to high school soon and teachers are pestering the students to hand in their career forms. To be frank, Minoko has no clue what to do with her life. Maybe get an office job? That would fit the normal narrative that seemed to be going on in her life. Then again, Minoko would really like some excitement in her life.
She wondered if applying to UA’s hero course would change that.
