    Summary

    It took three weeks of Trafalgar D. Water Law travelling with the Strawhat Crew to notice, and another twenty four hours to build up the courage to ask. In his defence, the New World left very little room to take notice of small changes like this, and it wasn’t like Law had an eye for detail either. Between kidnapping Caesar, killing defeating Doflamingo and recovering a wayward Germa prince, there had been barely any time to realize the sudden change in attire of his now allied captain.

    But things were different now. All it took was a wedding between two random minks – Bepo’s relatives, apparently – for the doctor to notice the small thin gold band wrapped around Luffy’s finger.

    “Are you married, Strawhat-ya?”

    "Yes, to you, dumbass"

    Or the one where Law and Luffy have been engaged since Marineford in the canon timeline but they're idiots in love.

    “Huh? You’re not too sure? But aren’t you from Sumeru?” Paimon asks, confusion evident in her voice.

    Kaveh decides to step in.

    “Lesser Lord Kusanali doesn’t exactly make public appearances. So not much is known about her really.” He explains.

    A silence falls over the group for a moment until Kaveh decides to ask.

    “So why do you two want to know about the dendro Archon?”

    Aether looks grim.

    “My sister was taken from me by an unknown god when we were going to leave Teyvat. I’m searching to be reunited with her. We’ve been traveling to each nation to ask the Archon there if they have any information on her whereabouts.”

    Aventurine seems to snap to attention at that, while Collei nods thoughtfully, surprisingly calm for the information.

    Kaveh meanwhile, blinks in surprise. That is not the answer he was expecting by any stretch of the imagination.

    OR

    Aventurine and (later) Dr. Ratio end up on Teyvat, and get pulled into the Sumeru Archon quests alongside Kaveh.
