Summary
Hiccup, Fishlegs, and Camicazi have managed to escape the American Dream 2 but are now faced with the impossible task of finding their way back to Berk with nothing but two hunting dragons, a table, and a boy good at plans who has a head wound. The task becomes even more impossible when the troop of dragon riders who rescue them turn out to be strangely familiar... and prove to be evidence that they are less of an ocean away from home and more of an entire different dimension away from the Barbaric Archipelago they know and love.
One thing is for sure: If they ever get back home they certainly deserve to be declared the winners of that swimming race.

When Elesa travels to Sinnoh for a fashion tour she's expecting to miss her friends and family for the two weeks she'll be abroad. She certainly doesn't expect Ingo to show up backstage. Or for Emmet to be even less communicative than usual while she tries to figure things out. Or for the whole event to turn into a balancing act between her friendships, her professional career, and her personal sanity. Luckily she's pretty good at managing things and Ingo is supporting her too, just as she supports him. It's a long tour across Sinnoh, but they'll get there together, in the end. -

Malice destroys everything it touches. Flesh, monsters, stone, wood all dissolve into nothing when exposed. Link should be happy the Sheikah Slate isn't a pile of sludge after dropping it into a puddle of the stuff but when it won't turn on again all he can do is feel stupid for his clumsiness and wonder how he's supposed to do anything at all without the tool he's come to rely on.

Stoick should have known better. While he didn't know much about his son-especially now-he knew the boy was clever. It should have been no surprise when a guard burst into the Council Meeting and revealed that Hiccup had escaped the cell Stoick put him in...hours after the boy was revealed to have saddled a dragon.
Hiccup is gone, and so is the beast.
They search, but do not find him. Berk falls asleep one night and awakens in the Great Hall, where the torches come to life and cast an image of their isle on the wall, from which floats Hiccup's voice, years younger.
AKA, Hiccup forfeited the final challenge, leaving Astrid with the right to kill the Nightmare. Story picks up in the Race to the Edge era, except Berk never learned the truth of dragons, no one knows how Hiccup really lost his leg, and stories of a hooded 'vigilante' riding a Night Fury have been long whispered...and Berk will see it all unfold.
