    Loki reaches down, grabbing the man by the collar and hauling him up to his feet. The man shoves at Loki’s arms, but their grip is iron; a Midgardian pushing this weakly at them is barely a challenge to hold back.

    “Loki,” Mobius says, tone edging on tense.

    “Apologize to my husband,” Loki snarls to the man, voice low.

    "Really, Steve? ABBA?" He laughed as they pulled over and got out of the car.

    Steve rolled his eyes. "They're good, okay. They could've like, saved us from Vecna or something!"

    "Oh yes, I'll keep it in mind next time an interdimensional evil wizard dude tries to attack us."

    Steve just nodded along. "Yeah! They'd be all like 'pow pow' and then we'd be all like 'Lay all your love on meeeee' and then boom! Dead! World? Saved. All thanks to ABBA." He paused, seemingly remembering something, and then: "I feel like we've had this conversation before."

    "Pow pow?" Eddie smirked. Steve didn't dignify that with an answer. "And yeah, we did, Madonna, remember?"

    "Oh right," he chuckled, "when I realized you had a thing for piercings and decided to get a hole drilled in my tongue."

     

    OR; Steve gets a piercing to impress Eddie. It works wonderfully but not before Eddie tries to fluster him back. Robin and Nancy figure their own shit out along the way.

    "Yeah, well, don't go on about it." Eddie gets up to move to the couch, dropping his feet onto the table with a clunk.  "I have a certain reputation to uphold."

    "Pfffft, what reputation?" Steve asks. "The biggest baddest meanest metalhead around?"

    "Exactly." Eddie says, holding his arms out without a trace of irony. "I'm a tastemaker, Steve, I have to be very careful about becoming…"

    "What?" Steve's still grinning. "Touchy-feely? Goth?"

    Eddie visibly caves. "...Honestly I may as well just admit it." He gestures over himself with a silver-ringed, black-nailed hand, at his layered necklaces and heavy boots and smudgy eyeliner. "It's pretty obvious. I've gone full bat."
