Newly minted Guard private, Nikita ”Nik” Sokolsky, wasn’t supposed to hear of the plans for the delinquents, not until all was said and done. How strange that even a very minor event, action or small shift can have such a tremendous effect, as exampled by a butterfly’s wing, flapping at exactly the right moment in time. Small changes in the initial conditions can and will lead to drastic changes in the results. Our lives are an ongoing demonstration of this principle.
Her life had been turned upside down when transplanted over 5,000 miles from home, to the bustling and alien city of London. The move wasn’t without its reasons, but now she’s lost in more ways than one.
Being forced to leave behind all she knew, and everything that forged her, it’s sure to be a turbulent time ahead. Especially learning to cope living within civilization once more, understanding modern technology and all it entails, as well as learning to live with neighbors for the first time in her life. Nothing will be easy.
What changes will be wrought, by simple existence in a place where she was never meant to be? What ripples will be cast; what results will be see in return? What happens when this girl takes her first steps towards an unknown destiny, legacy-bound to her by the father she never knew?
