Summary
Stede Bonnet was an alpha, sure, but he wasn't much of a fan of his secondary characteristics. Anthony Crowley's life is turned upside down when his financial management firm lets him go for less-than-legitimate reasons. Disgraced and frustrated, he leaves London and travels to the coast of California, to a little beach town called Tadfield, where his late mother kept a beach house. Little does he know there's a lot more in store for him in Tadfield than he first anticipated, especially after he meets a sweet, curly haired bookseller who, for a Someone-awful reason, seems to like him.
There's kites, and coffee, and a couple crises as Crowley learns there might be more to life than the fast paced flash of London.
