Summary
“David, thinking very hard about what flavour he should grab for himself, and knowing exactly what flavour to get Exer, zones out a little as he walks. It’s only when he’s centimetres away from walking straight into someone that he snaps out of it.
He looks down at the woman he’d almost bumped into, apology on the tip of his tongue.
And then he sees dark, curly hair, and the same hexagonal glasses that he used to see every day at the dinner table, and he bolts, running straight into the freezer aisle and curling up on the floor to hide.”
Or
David runs into Linda whilst shopping for movie night snacks, a few weeks after the events of episodes 105-107.

Summary
The moment Mr. Keating tells them about the Dead Poets' Society, something hard knots low in Todd's stomach. He's never been good with clubs or societies, with things that require you to formally spend time with others. Sucking the marrow out of life sounds like the sort of thing they've been doing already, even if Mr. Keating is probably referring to something more dramatic (better) than what they've been doing in class. But words dripped from our tongues like honey sounds kind of intimidating, and Gods were created sounds like the kind of thing Todd ought to just avoid entirely.

Summary
“Exer?”
Exer startled, suddenly back in David’s mom’s backyard. David was looking at him curiously, though he had to pull away from Exer to do it, which was unacceptable and in need of immediate remedy. Exer pulled David towards him again, until his face was smushed against Exer’s chest. “Nothing. I was just thinking.”
David asked “About what?” but his face was still smushed so it sounded rather like “Abuh wa?”
About the crushing unfairness of the universe and your violently homophobic father. “Hot chocolate.”

Summary
"Your pulse is fast." He murmured, another peck to the side of his lips.
Exer didn't need to let his eyes flutter open to know that there was a glint in David's own, a sparkle that he knew blind. He opened them anyway, because David's blue shone differently in every place.
"I wonder why." Exer replied, with as much teasing in his tone as David had.
David smiled, that lopsided, cheeky smile that was so David. "Well, you did run all the way here."

Summary
“The Angel of Death, the ferryman of the Styx, the terror of the western seas. One of the most feared captains ever to sail, and yet, I have to wonder… how did a man like you end up all on his own? We searched the area where you were found—not another soul in sight. So,” He fixes him with a long look, allowing the silence to hover like a dark cloud, the words rolling off of his tongue with all the venom and smugness he can muster, “—tell me, Philza. Where is your crew?”
—
OR: Technoblade is a naval captain, and Phil his unwilling prisoner. Somehow, they manage to come out of it as friends in the end.
