  2. Summary

Din Djarin doesn't know how to politic, or how to human, really. So he does his own thing, and somehow, it gets him places.
There is no Din shipping here. It might seem like there is, but there really is none. He's got friends, he's good, thanks. And found family, just to make it harder for him to take a damn nap.

In short: how throughout the years of his reign the Mand'alor Din Djarin somehow not only manages to not die, but also makes the Outer Rim folks get along. In a true Djarin fashion, he achieves that through the power of not giving a fuck, and being a generally nice guy that incidentally has far more power than he'd like.

    Summary

If Eddie had known that sharing his New York City art studio with Robin would include her buddy Steve, he never would’ve offered it in the first place. There. He said it. If that makes him a bad friend, so be it.

Because Steve is around all the time. Pastel and prissy. Sculpted from marble, yet dressed like a Macy’s mannequin. Always hovering.

They got Robin’s potters wheel up the stairs last week, a three man effort he can still feel in his lower back, and now she’s fucking teaching him. Full on, arms wrapped around his waist, hands guiding hands. Someone grab him a bucket, ‘cause Eddie’s about to throw up.

He’s not even good at it. Steve can barely get the hump of clay centered on the wheel and he refuses to get stains on his clothes. It’s fucking clay. It comes out in the wash. Steve’s shirtless approach to pottery is borderline offensive to the arts.

    Summary

"Grabs the stack of mail that he needs, but realizes he also needs to grab a hefty package. He clambers into the back, hefts the last package in his truck, and gently grasps the rest of the mail, stacking it on the very top of the box. When he finally places his feet on the dirt and gravel path, he makes a steady effort to keep his head up, line of sight straight on. But then the stranger’s head whips up from where they’ve been looking down at their feet.

Steve is a very graceful person. Has been. Continues to be. Needs to in order to do his job. The sight of this stranger, though, nearly makes him drop the contents in his arms.

He’d recognize those damn soft brown eyes anywhere.

Stopping himself from going further, he stands roughly five feet away from the guy. Blinks. Blinks harder when said guy doesn’t stop staring at him. “Holy shit,” he breathes. “Eddie…is that you?”"

    Summary

The Corroded Coffin members made a name for themselves investigating the paranormal, they have a fairly successful show that brings in some extra cash. Eddie's not sure if he really believes any of it, it's been eight years and he's only managed to record a few pieces of evidence he can't explain.

He's not expecting much from the investigation of the Harrington house, even laughing at how serious the man sounds about their safety. Steve Harrington himself and his stupid beautiful face is a big draw, he's not going to lie, but the stories he's telling about the haunting he's experiencing sound far-fetched even for them; particles of darkness, doors that lead nowhere, voices from rooms that are empty and visions of other places filled with black vines.

He'd assume the whole thing to be a hoax, if Harrington wasn't offering them a sizable amount of money to spend the night, and there's more on the table if they can rid him of his haunting for good.

Katara and Toph go to the tea shop and discover Zuko is waiting tables way earlier than in the show. Slower exploration of Zuko's life as a tea server. Also the Dai Li are terrible customers. The Gaang ends up coming to Zuko's aid, but that might make things worse.

Eventual and slight Zutara feels because I ship it like I'm a playwright for the Ember Island Players. But I also suck at anything remotely romantic so ... you have to squint to see it. And I try to be fair to all canon ships.

    Summary

(“You’re not sleeping,” Mai says softly.
    “How’d you know?” Zuko asks.

To be honest, he’s kind of gotten to the point where he’s surprised that anyone can perceive him outside of his necessary functions- he exists solely to sit in council meetings and shoulder the blame for genocides and famines and the suffering of one-hundred years. Doesn’t he?)

The war is over, but the fallout is just beginning. And where lightning strikes, thunder is bound to follow.
