Summary
The lights were dimmed, the soft yellow tinted glow seemed to light Eddie’s face perfectly, at least that’s what Steve thought when he would stare for a little too long. This hair felt perfectly, lips looked soft, hands were callused from playing his guitar whenever their hands would brush together. His mind was filled with a heavy haze that blocked his usual thoughts. The thoughts about what this meant for himself, for their friendship. So he didn’t make a stupid joke about it, or a sarcastic remark, instead nodded slightly as he turned to face Eddie again. They were closer than he remembered but they were always close to each other so it was nothing to question, at least it wouldn’t be if he wasn’t about to agree to the offer Eddie made. “Alright, yeah”

"Uh, you okay?" he'd tried again, this time caught up in Eddie's wide eyed look as he finally met his eyes.
"Yeah," Eddie had whispered, and then tried to scurry off to go do whatever rat bastards get up to during daylight hours, but there was blood on his fingers and Steve had reflexively grabbed his shoulders.

Summary
Steve had wanted their honeymoon to be as silly and sickeningly romantic as it could get, but unfortunately, the two-week all-inclusive luxury romance package isn’t refundable. Steve could definitely use a breather and he's not about to throw five thousand dollars down the drain like that, so of course he's going to go. He's just not sure why he invited Billy to come along.

Summary
One of the other passengers ends up behind him. Pressed right up against his back.
A hand reaches out, grabbing onto the pole. Resting barely an inch above Steve’s own hand.
“Sorry,” the guy behind him says, but he’s so close that his outbreath hits the shell of Steve’s ear. Hot enough to make him shiver.
Steve doesn’t reply; he just tightens his grip on the pole.
(Steve and Eddie dry hump on the subway, then fool around on a balcony.
