Coming and going in and out of consciousness is always a trip, one moment you feel like you are drowning, trying yet failing to tread water and breach the surface, to scream.Help me! Help, please! I can’t do this on my own.
But all of your cries fall on deaf ears; or no ears at all.
Then suddenly, you surface, and the weight of sensing is sudden and crushing; everything is too bright, people are talking too loud, and everything just hurts. And then, you’re dragged back under, unable to surface for a breath of fresh air. Now, while you’re under, it’s not like you aren’t still aware. You’re just, away. Being away feels like being underwater, in a similar way that drowning does; everything is dimmed, and muffled. People talking, whispers of something against your shoulders and cheeks and hands, watching over you, waiting for you to heal; to surface and not be pulled back under again. Healing is a funny word, isn’t it?

She walked over to where Nela was before backing her into a corner and letting out a low growl,“Listen here, mutt, I would rather have my tail and ears cut off before I ever let my father buy my way into a college.” Andromeda had Nela pinned now, one arm outstretched with a hand on the wall beside Nela’s head,
“I also will not allow someone who just arrived to call me a Beta,” She rasped,
her warm breath caressing Nela's face; Andromeda brought her mouth to Nela’s ear, about to whisper something to her when there was a knock at the door.

Summary
Optimus Prime’s message to other Autobots is answered and just in the nick of time. Starscream—with the aid of a strange new power—is leading the Decepticons in Megatron’s stead and all out war on Earth seems inevitable.
However when Megatron rises from the grave he finds the Cybertronian race exposed to a deadly virus which has altered their very form and function. The once great metal giants have been reduced to their most organic roots and no-one is prepared for the consequences.
With the Decepticon forces in chaos under Starscream, and the Autobot forces scrambling to save the crew of the newly crashed Ark, will anyone be able to find a cure in time? Relationships, beliefs and histories will be shattered. New knowledge will forever change humans and Cybertronians alike.
