Summary
“Leo? What the hell?”
Fuuu-uuuuuck. Leo shifts a throbbing, spasming hand to try and cover his face, save any scrap of dignity he can. The smile he ends up grabbing is slippery, like an eel. Keeps trying to squirm off his face as the waves of tremors roll in.
“Hahaheyyy, ‘Tello, I’m j-just…”
And he can’t even think of anything.
“I think I’m d-dying,” Leo hears himself say, and, well! That’s pretty much the gist of it! Donnie’s got the SparkNotes, now. He cuts off the reedy whimper of pain before it can leave his throat, shuts his eyes against the shame, and against the horrible thing Donnie’s expression does for a split-second.
(Leo reckons with the consequences of his actions. Donnie gets to say "I told you so.")
