Fukase was just trying to stop them from looking into someone’s journal. He didn’t mean to accidentally destroy it in front of her, nor to be falsely accused. Even though she doesn’t blame him, he hates seeing her feel so down (even from afar). Never thought a single act would result in them both gaining something more.

After a few more awkward and blush-filled minutes spent with Rin's hands hovering over his face, the girl leans back and pulls a cream compact out of her tangerine makeup purse.
"See how much your eyes pop?"
Despite his previous reaction to the notion of wearing makeup, Len doesn't actually hate it. He blinks a few times as he sees himself in the little mirror for the foundation, admiring the soft peachy tones of the eyeshadow and the way his lashes seem to look fuller. Rin's some sort of a sorceress, really, in the way she managed to make his eyes look brighter, softer, and more vivid.
It's really cute, actually, and it's driving him a little insane as he tries to play it cool.
"I think it's alright," he mumbles, avoiding looking at his reflection. "It's kind of nice."
"So does this mean you'll try on the maid dress?"
"Oh, fuck no. There's no way in hell I'm doing that."

len grows increasingly close with the peculiar girl he meets at school. he thinks rin's kind of cute, but she's hellbent on helping him on his journey of self discovery, or whatever.
