Summary
On the frigid moon of Rotfront, a block warden is found dead after falling several dozens of floors from her office window. What would have otherwise been a routine investigation for the Sektor's Replika detective, "Jünger", becomes a tangled web of peril and half-truths when AEON headquarters on Heimat orders for a Special Decommissions Replika, "Leise", to assist her in a joint investigation. Wary of one another's true motives, what the two Replikas uncover is several folds more than a simple accident within the Eusan Nation: internal corruption, wide-scale persona degradation, and the makings of a conspiracy at the very top of AEON Kommando.

Summary
An unspoken rule among the Replikas of the P-13 Pascal facility: "Don't mind the Aras." Not many truly know what the Aras do in their tunnels, though few non-Ara Replikas even step foot there--and fewer still go willingly. Though one Eule, one who is already running late to an important Protektor's meeting, will become one of those unfortunate few.

Summary
The age of law was crumbling. From outlaws and corruption to an unspeakable darkness older than time, Remnant's long and hard fought history was on the verge of complete collapse. All that remained that could stem the growing tide were Gunslingers: skilled individuals that had the courage--and steady hands--to defend against such darkness, though now most sought only to fight amongst themselves. What follows is a story of four gunfighters, caught in the middle of such a precipice, who were as likely to shoot one another as they were to save the entirety of Remnant.

Bookmarker's Notes
There is a certain kind of tender thoroughness in which "Die Marelin" is being written, such lovingly crafted sequences of dialogue and nonverbal communication, varying amounts of warmth, anxiety, and growth between Elster and Ariane that the reader can completely empathize with. DearAgonist treats both characters with a degree of respect that, when the more morose moments arrive, the bond between the two keeps their relationship afloat (both literally and figuratively) in that great void of space. Regardless if there are fewer chapters left, I will willingly consume whatever is written next, be it heartbreak or otherwise.

Summary
A (somewhat) grounded interpretation of what might have happened after the Artifact/Lily ending. An ongoing story of travel and adventure mostly told through Ariane's perspective. Expect liberal introspection, ruminating, consensual hand-holding, and probably some creative liberties with the lore. Spoilers for the game. Very occasional NSFW sexual content. Now complete, please read The Knight Errant for more!

Bookmarker's Notes
This was first fic I read after wrapping up Signalis' "artifact" ending, and--wow!--was I fortunate that I did. This story is simultaneously a well-needed deep dive on the two main characters of Signalis (Elster and Ariane) and a fascinating divergence from the game itself that respects the original work. I am happy to see TH&HK receive such praise, for as a fanfiction and a piece of fiction, all of it is wholly deserved.
