He could barely remember how it all happened. He knew he was supposed to be hitting a rut sometime soon, but he hadn’t expected it to hit so abruptly. It must’ve been something about being around the Straw-hat pirates, specifically Monkey D. Luffy, since they always seemed to set him off in different ways.
It should’ve been obvious, really, but it wasn’t until his instincts had finally tipped over the edge and took hold of him that he had realized too late.

She loved her brother, he was the beacon of light in this godforsaken city. But after Ace's death their once cheerful carefree life was tossed aside and they were forced to grow into their roles and duties.
Luffy wasn't meant for either, she loved freedom, the rustling of leaves and the music played by drunk patrons in the pub she snuck to. But now that Sabo was given an estimate on his lifespan, he started planning ahead. and that plan very much included finding a husband for his little sister.
"So you will be taken care of when I'm gone Lu" he said.
And no matter how much she'd argue back nothing will stop this tumbling bolder from pinning her to a man she has no desire to love let alone marry.
