Imola has had this strange atmosphere for as long as Max can remember, but this year he felt like a heavy cloud hung over the circuit even though the sun was shining down on everyone. It wasn't until the 15th lap of the race that he understood the tightness in his chest and his need to hug Charles tightly before they entered the circuit.

This is not only one of the best Omegaverse fanfics on the site, but one of the best fanfics on the site in general. Everything is simply perfect. From the plot to the spelling, the delicate and at the same time intense way in which the author unfolded these wonderful 14 thousand words, simply perfect. I would love a sequel, but everything is already so perfect that I fear I won't feel the same emotion I feel now if the author decide to continue all this, after all some works were not made to be continued and this ending was already satisfactory and perfect enough.

Summary
Charles has a horrible date, and no one is answering the phone to help him. As a last resort, he calls Max, his sort-of-friend/coworker/childhood-enemy-turned-maybe-crush who comes to pick him up. A day later, Max offers to take Charles out on a “fix-it” date, to show him how a real date should go. However, the ‘fake’ date turns out to be a little more real than either man had expected.

Summary
An old FIA rule says that unmated omegas aren't allowed to race in any category of motorsport.
Because of that, Charles Leclerc has been hiding as a beta since he first presented as an omega-until a breakthrough heat destroys how hard he's worked and reveals his designation.
Ferrari, facing a major loss in sponsorship money, offer him a choice: leave Ferrari and motorsport forever, or agree to an invite only auction for the rights to mate him, with proceeds filling the hole in the budget.
Charles comes up with a plan to save himself, get an alpha he trusts, get Ferrari's money back, and keep his seat.
Unfortunately, Max Verstappen comes up with a plan, too.
