Summary
When he finally gets there, he at first thinks that Lance is dead. He’s lying motionlessly on his side, only wearing his undersuit. Oddly enough it’s ripped off from the waist down, and Keith barely has time to breath as he shrugs off his jacket and drapes it over Lance’s bare bottom.
He takes Lance’s hands in his, and they’re ice cold.
It’s only when the hands squeeze his that Keith looks up in shock, and sees that Lance’s eyes are open and the asshole is smiling crookedly at him.
“Your jacket’s on my butt,” he remarks hoarsely.

Viktor, Jayce, and Mel raise an extremely volatile Jinx AU
When Vi sees Silco standing over Powder she manages to break free from Marcus and get back to her sister. The two are captured by Silco– Vi becoming his right hand and de facto leader of the lanes- and Powder being sent away to Stillwater Hold as a hostage. But Powder is done being a jinx to the people she loves. Instead, she’ll use her bad luck to foil every plan Silco has for her. The first step? Get out of the prison cell. The second? To figure out how to get the two well meaning scientist who have taken her in to let her close enough to their research to build a bomb.

Summary
It was an idea that Jayce had for a while now.
The kind that he turned over in his head again and again, fiddling with the hinges and the bolts to see what was gunking up the ever-turning gears in his head. It was the kind of idea that haunted him at night, clinging to the shadows and flickering across the fibers in his mind. An idea and a question. Jayce practiced the asking part of it in the mirror, sometimes.
Which, in a way, might have been stupid. Maybe Jayce was overthinking it. Maybe he was letting the question needle under his skin as it coiled around an idea and made the whole world seem, at once, different and risky.
Jayce had an easier time asking Viktor to marry him.

Jayce does a theatrical turn and grandly gestures towards the Brainstorming Board like he’s at the annual Engineers Symposium. A fat bead of blood flies off his finger and punctuates “REASONS NOT TO KILL JAYCE TALIS.”
Or: Jayce perverts the scientific method. Viktor fails the trolley problem.
