   Summary

   Jean Rowland has a lot on her plate; winter exams are in full swing, and with her and her twin, Brent, turning eighteen shortly after new years, they're both feeling the stress of growing up. It doesn't help that their dad, Damion, is receiving death threats as his position at the Conduit Outreach and Legal Endorsement Center has put him in the crosshairs of every Lifeline member, politician, and general anti-Conduit person in the entire Portland area. Jean's scared and worried, but her family has survived near homelessness and the death of her mother — they can get through this, too. Especially with Dad there.

   But when Dad's past catches up with him, and Brent and Jean's lives are turned upside down, how will they deal with unearthed truths, newfound foes, and the rise of Archangel?
