Summary
The Enterprise comes across a mysterious planet with a series of caves that manifest copies of loved ones. These copies are taken from a person’s mind to allow them to confront and heal the turmoil in their heart.
The copies are perfect replicas in every way, including their memories and personalities.
But Jim is shocked when a copy of Spock shows up professing love for him and while he had never considered falling in love with his first officer, this copy allows him to explore the possibility. The real Spock would never have to know.
The copy’s touch is electric and his body is warm and inviting, there’s just one problem, Jim doesn’t realize, it’s not a copy.

Summary
With their five year mission concluded the Enterprise makes one last stop before returning to Earth for reassignment. Spock suddenly sustains an injury that causes a healing trance that casts doubt on his decision to leave Starfleet.
He is now at an impasse, choosing Kirk and their shared bond or the Vulcan life he has striven for his entire existence.

If Spock had been thinking at all logically, he would have reported the chief engineer for gross misconduct, disposed of the confiscated experimental machine, and spared the machine’s purpose nary one more thought. But Spock had lost his grasp on logic, which had always been tenuous for him at best, the moment he had walked into the little used cargo space well beyond main engineering into the true bowels of the ship and seen Commander Scott being... worked upon by the device he had constructed by cobbled together pieces of the Enterprise herself and some kind of alien tech. The motions of the machine, the point of entry, the sounds that the engineer made when they met, something in it made Spock’s breath catch in his throat.
Or, the one where Spock walks in on Scotty using a fuck machine and Kirk walks in on Spock.
