Summary
Liam startled awake with tears in his eyes, cheeks flushed and hair poking up in all sorts of unusual directions.
The memories of the dream were already beginning to fray at the edges, but he tried to grip onto them, to go over everything he could still see and feel solidly, in the hope that he could stop it from disappearing entirely from his mind.
“Him or the Kingdom.” He remembered that. He remembered the leaders sitting in front of him. It was still foggy, he couldn’t really remember names or faces, couldn’t really recall the outfits past that they were old fashioned.
He remembered a lot of feelings. Anger, burning in him like an untended fire, filling up every minute part of his body.
Theodore: We need to talk.
Did they? Because Liam didn’t particularly want to.
OR -
Liam and Theo are confronted by a creature that forces them to recall their past life together through their dreams. A life in which Liam is a young King, forced to put the man who corrupted the throne to death. A life in which Theo is his forbidden love, and Liam has no choice but to stand by and watch him pay for their love.

Summary
He's allowing Liam to step into his space, to see the worst part of him and say ‘See me, know me, understand that this is the worst of me but it is not who I am. I am a better version of myself. I am not the worst of my actions. I am more. You know me.’
And hope that Liam understands and accepts him anyways.
Or, alternatively: Liam brings Theo back to life in more ways than one.
