After his last fight with Alastor, Charlie was furious. Furious enough to ask him to leave the hotel temporarily.
Back in his lonely palace, Lucifer decides he’s not willing to fail his daughter once more—she deserves the best (even if he doesn’t know how to give it to her). Maybe he needs a guide. Someone in a similar position who isn’t a complete failure like him.

There was something wrong with Alastor.
That much wasn't necessarily alarming, there was definitely something wrong with the sinner in general. So much wrong.
Only this was a new, uncomfortable kind of wrong. Their dynamic had changed in the recent months, though Lucifer would be hard pressed to pinpoint exactly how.Alternatively: Alastor forces his newly found maternal instincts on a very confused, very unwilling Lucifer. That goes as well as you'd expect.

Summary
A magical/fantasy AU where magic is normal to some extent.
Lucifer is the youngest of his line, and the only one unmarried. To build a political alliance, him and Alastor are arranged to marry. The pressure is high to continue the royal family's lineage, and while somewhat naive due to his sheltered upbringing, Lucifer is quick-witted and observant. Alastor is quicker and has his own plans and expectations in motion.\

Summary
Lucifer has an eating disorder (Not that he'll admit to that...).
A night of over-drinking concludes with the king saving the radio demon's life. Puzzled by his odd behavior and sudden weight loss, Alastor becomes obsessed with unravelling the royal disaster. AKA: Lucifer's trauma finally catches up to him, Al discovers what feelings are & absolute chaos ensues while they confront and overcome their challenges.
