If Wei Wuxian hadn’t had Lan Zhan (the great man he was, to warn him of a threat after all that Wei Wuxian had done) to live for, he thinks he wouldn’t have flinched as he kept his Shijie from pushing him away.
Wei Wuxian’s hand was still on his Shijie’s shoulder, but it fell slack as his body weakened. Blood pulsed against the blade sticking out of him, trying to drain him of life.
