Summary
The Umbrella Corporation was a prestigious multinational pharmaceutical company.
Its products could be found in 95% of American households, from the wealthiest to the poorest.
The company dominated the pharmaceutical and educational sectors, owning top universities across the Americas and even in parts of Europe. It also funded orphanages, arts, and culture programs.
This "admirable company" was founded by three men: Ozwell E. Spencer, James Marcus, and Edward Ashford. The latter two were long dead. Spencer, however, was still alive, albeit in poor health. As a result, one of his protégés, Albert Wesker, had taken over as CEO, while another, William Birkin, led the research department.
To society, the Umbrella Corporation appeared to be nothing more than a large, successful company. However, a dark secret lurked within—one known only to a select few.
