He had missed Ravensthorpe during the long and often excruciating missions these past few weeks. Alongside his trustworthy men, he had pillaged and plundered those, who had more than enough to share, but were too stingy to do so. He had murdered bandits, raiders, Saxons and many more, who had dared to cross his path and challenged him. He had lost friends along the way, comrades, family even. Summary
Alec Gideon Lightwood, oldest son of Maryse and Robert Lightwood has many burdens on his shoulders. Most importantly, he has to live up to his family name. He isn't too sure about being able to live up to his parents' high standards and he doesn't know in whom he can confide. Certainly not with his siblings he wants to protect them at all costs. Thankfully, a strange find after a night full of demon hunting might change things for the better. Alec certainly feels this way. Who would have thought that a stray black cat with golden eyes could make such an impact in his stressful life. (I suck at summaries!)
