Summary
The younger man's heart seemed to race as he approached with quickening steps; his face ruled by concern. "Don't do it!" he pleaded heavily breathing, his voice filled with genuine fear for, well, Hannibal as it seemed. "Please, don't do it. You- uh... just don't. There is so much to live for."
Hannibal hesitated for a moment, his mind racing to adapt to this unexpected turn of events. He allowed the stranger to step a bit closer.
Alibi and cover aside his words still failed him. "I... I don't-."

Or, Hannibal just wants some peace and quiet to hang a corpse. Before finishing his masterpiece he gets interrupted by a stranger who's mistaking him for suicidal. A worried Will takes him to his own home to make sure he's stable.
