Viserys missed seeing his family members' faces on a consistent basis. He forgot their voices, but their warmth and love could be remembered while he gazed at their portraits. The official family portrait of King Jaehaerys’ reign contained his mother's portrait so he would have somewhere to look for his mother's smile.

Lucerys Velaryon consistently felt a calling towards the ocean.
