Rey is a clinical genetic counselor working to help her patients understand their genetic information and how it affects them and their families. Often, she calls Ben, a Laboratory Genetic Counselor who helps her interpret results and provide solutions to the problems she faces. Rey seems to always find a reason to call him and he is all too eager to help her.
Or... a series of calls between Rey and Ben where they work on cases and go from professional to friends to more.

Summary
Something has happened. After the (predicted and probably altered) events of episode 8, Rey and Kylo Ren have gone missing and are now the most wanted criminals in the galaxy. Everyone from the First Order to the Resistance has sent their best people after them but it only forced the two deeper into hiding. The war continued on despite the upset in power their disappearances caused, but the question about what happened still lingered over the galaxy....

I assume you haven’t eaten recently.” Feng Xin nudges the bowl across the table so it’s a little closer to Mu Qing, eyes flitting back and forth between him and the food. “Also I made peppermint tea if you want some afterwards. And I threw away your half-cooked eggs, which was disgusting by the way, they were stuck to the pan—”
Knowing that Feng Xin rambles when he’s nervous and won’t stop once he gets going, Mu Qing snaps, “What are you doing back here?”
Feng Xin’s head jerks up, brows furrowing angrily. “Fuck, just shut up and let someone take care of you for once. Eat your fucking congee.”
(Or: Mu Qing is sick and Feng Xin takes care of him. Lots of feelings and emotions ensue.)
