Summary
Fledglings are supposed to be loud.
Avians in general aren't the quietest of people, and when they're young, they're noisy by design. It's normal. It's good. If Phil's brothers were silent for more than 30 seconds, that's how he knew that either mischief, catastrophe, or tragedy was about to go down. A silent fledgling means something is very very wrong.
Technoblade has not made a single sound since Phil met him, and somehow that is more off putting than the fact that they're both being held against their wills. Though there may just be a correlation between those two things...

Summary
It's not odd for kings to have a changeling around for all their magical needs. All it takes is a bit of iron and a firm hand to keep them in line. As such, some get sold instead of killed when found out. Technoblade supposes he's lucky to be alive, considering he wasn't the best changeling.
It's hard to feel grateful for much of anything with the bone deep pain of iron always pulling him down.
When a new changeling is brought the castle, the same iron cuffs around their wrists, Techno's not quite sure what to do. Wilbur at least seems nice enough on first approach. Though, he can't quite shrug away the feeling that something is very strange with the other, changeling or not.

Summary
Humans are, objectively, not especially more strange than any other species in the galaxy. Billions of years of evolution create some unique beings, to put it lightly.
Upon meeting a human for the first time a few things will likely stick out as weird compared to most aliens—how they can be equal parts fragile and resilient, scarily intelligent while easily stressed to sickness, and needing a ridiculous amount of water and food and oxygen for a species that seems set on crying it all out. It’s odd, even for aliens perhaps. But everyone gets used to it eventually, like they do with all species.
It’s too bad that humans are /really/ not made to survive in space though. And that Phil, Wilbur, and Tommy only know as much about humans as Techno has shared with them. Which certainly isn't enough for this situation...

Summary
The war between Hypixel and the Antarctic Empire has been raging for some time now with little progress. In a decisive move, crown price Technoblade is taken as a hostage, with the king and queen of the Antarctic Empire being certain that it will give them the upper hand.
And it does! But not in the way that Philza and Kristin expected. They're not disappointed though.
Meanwhile, Techno is learning first hand the strange effects that the stress is having on him. The royals of Hypixel aren't avians. It seems that his body didn't get the memo.

Summary
After everything, Techno can't really be surprised that it's turned out this way. It's not like he was prepared to be turned into a vampire. Let alone to be kicked out by his sire, and cast out by his family, and then attack someone against his will, and then—
He's not doing great.
It's in that state that a pack of werewolves find him. When they misinterpret the situation, well... Techno isn't able to correct to them.
