This is a horrible decision on the account that he hates heroes with a passion.
Not because he's a Vigilante, no. But he has a hard time reeling in such feelings as they've done nothing but fail him and his district. His L'Manburg.
So, overall, getting a job at a Hero Corp when he detests heroes is not a very smart idea. But if it'll keep both him and Ranboob off of the streets, then fine. He'll do it.

Tommy was part of dux Dream’s pod. As the parvus he was the stress relief for the pod. He was also Dream’s adopted younger brother. But, well. Only by word and not by promise. Dream said he loved Tommy more than he did George, but hurt him while saying it. Figuring this was simply how his life would be, Tommy could only roll over and accept it or be left stranded in the open ocean with no pod, and no protection.
But then Technoblade came. And he changed everything.
