Summary
What defines a god? Are there upper and lower bounds? Is there anything concrete at all?
In one world, humanity found the answer when something far beyond the rank of god chose them as playthings, the sky shattering like clay, the incomprehensible forcing itself upon the earth's surface. Some died, some became survivors, some were mutated, and a select few were... changed.
Phil is among the ranks of those changed, neither human nor monster but something both more and less. He can no further explain what he is than he can comprehend his very nature of being. He's learned to live with it though. Everyone learns to live eventually.
And then he's taken from this world and into another. A world that never knows a being above their beloved gods. A world where those favored walk among those who are not, either demigods or gods-given flesh depending on the perspective. He's brought to this world and told to help.
How can Phil help them when he can't even help himself?

Summary
They say the simplest answer is usually true, though often overlooked. Sometimes because it seems impossible for such a complicated situation to have such a simple answer. Other times because they simply don't think about it all.
So if the Mad Prince is acting like an entirely different person, what if that's because he is? Because Techno is not Crown Prince Blade, not the sun of the Emperor, Sanguine Blade. He is merely a poor, relatively innocent man forced into a situation he has no say in. It sounds impossible, doesn't it? It sounds insane.
Fitting, in a way, for a Mad Prince. A prince destined to die, in a way, though that fate may be easily escaped by simply not trying to kill the Emperor. But just because he can change his fate so simply does not mean he knows how to live with what comes next. The simplest answer is that he should just live however he wants to.
Unfortunately, the simplest answer is not an option for the Mad Prince, even if Techno did not earn that title.

Summary
Being able to see the future, fully see and understand it, is rare even in a world where those with superpowers are called Fate Weavers, their powers mixing with and manipulating the very strings that make up a person's life. For that, Phil has always been passively quite strong. Strong and a terrible person. Truly, that is a combination that the heroes fear. Strong and willing to do horrible things.
But Phil is kept good by his wife, the light of his life. And then the heroes, in an amazing display of incompetence, cause that life to end. Phil is left as a single parent. Lost, he turns to the future for help.
The future is not bright. It is a terrible, violent thing that scares even him, even when he cares so little for other people. He is left with a choice. He can follow his fate until the end, or he can do better. Do better, but have no clue how the butterfly effect may unfold.

Cursed spirits are usually born knowing what they were supposed to do, apparently.
"Apparently" is pretty dubious because Obito was not exactly born but more like spat out of death's stomach with absolutely no idea of what to do next.
On the upside (more like downside) there's a Kakashi-look alike with a god complex and Obito really wants to fist fight god.
