When the orcs attacked Isildur near the Gladden Fields, it is known he lost the Ring of Power in the river. But what if the Valar intervened once more in the fate of Middle-earth and opened a rift in time and space, sending it....to Westeros.
Jon Targaryen is the legitimized son of Lyanna Stark and King Rhaegar Targaryen. But with the blame of Robert's Rebellion unfairly falling upon the young prince, he was despised by many in the Seven Kingdoms. Jon's life only turned for the better when he arrived at Winterfell to live with his mother's family.
The years passed, and slowly Jon gained the favor of the North and the Riverlands through his many deeds of valor and the friendships he made. But now, when his life finally seems to have turned for the better, he finds a strange golden ring, a seemingly benign trinket that holds great power.
But dark forces are stirring, evil that lives both within and without the hearts of men. The Long Night is almost upon them once more.
Only the Prince Who Was Promised can stop this apocalypse, and the Ring will be what either dooms or saves Westeros.
