Summary
After Minho's last heat, Hyunjin had finally realized just how difficult it had been on all three of their pack leaders to endure one of Minho's heats. Their pack had crowded in Seungmin’s room while Minho was cocooned in the beta’s bed to celebrate his quickly-ended heat.
While their oldest omega was radiant in his happiness and relief, Hyunjin had managed to look past it to the profound exhaustion. He took in the bruises and the bites visible on the skin not hidden by blankets. He absorbed the puffy eyes and dark circles. He looked at Chan and saw the weariness, the pale skin that easily showed crescent-shaped craters of dried blood, the matching puffy eyes and circles.
It’s time for another cycle to begin, but things are going a little less smoothly in the aftermath of Minho’s successful heat. Hyunjin reflects on the role he’s played in the pack’s dynamics thus far, and endeavors to make a change.

“No,” Minho sighs, regretting what he's about to reveal before he’s even revealed it, but he knows it has to get to his little gaggle of gays sooner rather than later. “We’re just sleeping together.”
Felix nearly spits out his water. “What?!” he yells as best he can through his coughing fit. “And the world didn’t implode?”
“Like not just in the same bed?” Hyunjin chirps in, eyes wide. “Like dicks in ass and everything?” Minho just sighs again and looks up at the ceiling. Maybe he should have just kept this in forever.
“Well I guess we know what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object,” Seungmin deadpans, sliding over on his wheelie chair before stopping perfectly in the center of the doorway. “They fuck.”
(OR: Minho and Jisung have slept with everyone except each other. Until that changes. No feelings attached, of course.)

Their laughter peters out, and Jisung pants lightly as he tries to catch his breath from the commotion. They’re still a bit tangled together, but suddenly Jisung’s nose scrunches and he’s leaning further into Jeongin’s space.
“Sorry,” he mutters, but he’s still leaning in anyway, nose bumping against Jeongin’s jaw. “Just smell good.”
Fuck, Jeongin thinks. Thank the heavens he just got off, because if he hadn’t, Jeongin is sure he’d be hard over this — tangled up with his pretty omega telling him how good he smells, how nice his scent is after he comes.
