Summary
The hinges creak as Seungcheol pushes his front door open. He decided to stay here instead of moving into the city with his grandma. He wanted to finish out his last year in high school here. (And maybe the thought of being separated from his friends terrified him). It’s an older place, a bit of a walk from the school. He doesn’t mind though.
Jeonghan invites himself in, tracking little puddles onto the wooden floors. He doesn’t seem to notice until Seungcheol barks at him.
“Leave your shoes at the door!” The words are harsh, but his tone is young and playful. A lilt in his voice oozes a certain level of aegyo that he’s reserved specifically for Jeonghan. He laughs through the words, not scolding, but taunting. Jeonghan squelches his way back to the entrance, slipping his shoes off with a plop.

Seungcheol spends a normal day with Jeonghan. Unremarkable, yet one he hopes to never forget.
