Over a spider spawner in the middle of the room, there sits a lamp, a regular old looking lamp. There wouldn't be anything special about it, if it wasn't for the eerie purple flames that burn bright inside it.
Doovid pocketed his notebook, walking, and crouched in front of the lamp.
“Good morning, Avid.” He smiled sadly, looking as the flames shook as if waking up. “It's been six days since we ended here, are you ready?”
The flames danced, maybe a shrug or a no, they have been exploring this part of the world for some days now. It's not like they have any other option than to just keep going.
Doovid nodded anyway, and looked at his right hand, which is wrapped in what used to be Avid's shirt. It’s charred, and smelling foul, blood covering the entirety of the once white cloth.

They were just playing. Avid was helping Doovid getting used to the whole "being a monkey thing" but them they fell, and they didn't died, no. Something gone wrong, a glitch, something misplaced them in the universe.

He remembers light, a big crackling-like explosion, almost if someone slapped a whip directly over his head.
He remembers being frozen, dread filling his entire body. And then he heard the scream, not one; screams, plural. A cacophony, it was like if every living being in that forest was crying in pain at the same time, a single scream, it was all at the same time.
He ignored the destroyed tents, he ignored how he and Skizz accidentally camped close to another group and how he couldn't hear them, how he didn't see any other living soul that wasn't himself.
He got to the tent, his legs shook, the world turned and he felt himself falling on his knees.
Their shared tent was completely destroyed, shredded to pieces, his and Skizz’ stuff was scattered around, almost like a wild animal gone through it. And Skizz was nowhere to be seen.

In the end of the world, all Impulse has is Skizz. And things changed, oh god things changed, but somehow it stayed the same.
Did he ever stop to think about the fact he will never help Skizz to get rid of the sleeves in his thrifted suits again?
Now he has, he doesn't like that thought.

'I have a healing quirk,' he lies, begging the boy with his eyes. Please, say yes. Please accept my DNA. 'It only works on others. Let me h-help you? I won't last.' Toshinori's words come more and more haltingly. He can feel cold darkness encroaching on his limbs already. He tilts his hand, just slightly, just enough to renew his offer to the boy. 'At-At least… Not long enough… For help to arrive in time.'

Yagi Toshinori gets caught in a building collapse in his powered-down form. As he lays dying and without a successor, he offers his quirk to a young boy who is trapped alongside him.
All Might never makes it out of the building. But Midoriya Izuku does.
With no parent and a new limb-breaking quirk, he becomes a ward of UA.

Evbo paused, gaze drifting as he brought a hand up to rub at his sunken eyes. He held the other over his chest, gripping the fabric of his sweater, feeling his heart beat. He didn’t dare look upon the jagged scars which remained from each and every one of his painful deaths. Even now, a dull ache remained there, reminding him of what was to come next.
“I think I’m used to the feeling.”
His breath hitched. He could barely look himself in the eye. Scars decorated his face and neck as well, which he couldn’t hide from himself. They stared back at him like living entities. Every single one of his past selves’ lives reduced to an ugly blight, slashed across his skin.
These video journals were getting depressing, weren’t they?
Or: While being farmed for his sword durability, Evbo dies and resurrects countless times. A few of those times, he takes a pit stop in the afterlife and meets someone he might have known in another universe.
