“I do not recall telling you my name.” Viktor stated matter-of-factly. “Yet you know it. Have we met?” Yes. Many times. Practically lived together inside their lab, but he couldn’t tell Viktor that. No, this Viktor had no idea who Jayce really was, and he intended on keeping it that way.
Jayce stumbled on his own thoughts trying to find an answer. Shit. Viktor is right, he wasn’t supposed to tell Jayce his name until later in his apartment. Damn it. “Uh—“ he stalled as he tried to think of a lie. “H-Heimerdinger had mentioned you once. You’re his assistant, right? Snarky Undercity kid with an accent? Not many other people here who fit that description.”

After the Hexcore collapsed, Jayce gets sent back to where it all started, the day he met Viktor, but Viktor seems to have no recollection of him. What happens when Jayce gets another chance, knowing what he knows now.
My take on Season 2 Jayce with Season 1 Viktor until Viktor eventually remembers everything and they live happily ever after because I refuse to give these two any more sad endings!
No idea how many chapters this will have, we're just gonna roll with it until the dopamine stops.

Summary
Jayce Talis has a reputation. He's in good with the Kiramman's, who have kindly supported and sponsored his work, and he has the approval and favor of Counselor Heimerdinger. So it would be stupid to risk that after working so hard for it, right?
Unfortunately it's not so easy. Jayce has... these needs, these cravings that he hasn't been able to satisfy. Pent up, he resorts to try and satiate himself in an Undercity brothel, even though he was still struggling with his shame for his wants. Alternate canon where Viktor never left Zaun, Jayce never became a well-known scientist, and both took different, divergent paths. They were born a little later into the timeline, to the point that shimmer was introduced to the ecosystem when both were in their early adulthood. Both are the same age as in canon after chapter 1. Slow burn.

Jayce is a respectable kind of guy. He's everything a Piltover citizen should be, presentable, friendly, and polished. Except, one day when Caitlyn sends him to investigate a seedy gay club in the darkest corner of Zaun, Jayce sees a whole other way of living. And in the center of it all, a beautiful man with eyes like a lion looking, directly, into his.

Summary
Coming back to life after certain death is not easily described. In fact, Viktor can't describe it because the Arcane takes over and guides his battered consciousness into a new body. This body has a purpose. This body does not belong in Piltover. This body needs to travel to the depths of Zaun and act upon the Arcane's will.
But when Viktor speaks Jayce's name, he remembers who he is. They have always defined each other.
OR, Viktor wakes from his chrysalis. He isn't so eager to leave.
