Summary
When Jongho and Seungmin first asked Eunkwang out, he said no. Their age difference was too big, the power dynamics impossible to overcome, it just...wouldn't be appropriate. It was better for the three of them to remain as friends and peers, to pursue their dreams separate rather than together. If they were still interested five years later, when they were older and more settled in their careers, then...then he would be there for them, because he couldn't pretend not to care even when he knew it was in their best interests.
Five years later, all three of them are still dealing with the ramifications of that heartbreak. Eunkwang still has no idea if he made the right call, and wonders if he might have thrown away the best thing he ever had. Jongho has finally realized that he needs to stop letting the ghost of his past haunt his future, and feels as though the only way for him to move forward is to cut himself off from the past entirely. And Seungmin? Seungmin just wants the three of them back together the way they always should have been.
